Alex Richards is a young adult novelist–ACCIDENTAL (Bloomsbury 2020), WHEN WE WERE STRANGERS (Bloomsbury 2021) and Back Talk (Flux 2007).
Alex sets all her young adult novels in her picturesque hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico, despite having moved to New York after high school. She currently writes and resides in Brooklyn with her husband, two kids, and two demanding cats. She harbors a not-so-secret love of rom-coms and all things cheesy, from pizza to The Prom Pact. In addition to writing, Alex has worked in photography, television, theater, and film (including a few no-budget horror flicks made with equal parts ketchup and overdramatic acting).
